The Mystery calls: I take you out into the expanse, I free you, because I desire you.
--Psalm 18:20
You shall not oppress the stranger, for you know the soul of the stranger, and you know the pain of oppression.
-- Exodus 23:9
During this Shabbat before Passover we will prepare ourselves for yitziat mitzriam—the going out of the narrow places into the expanse. Prayer, meditation and reflection will guide us in softening our hearts, widening our perspectives and clearing ourselves from what keeps us bound.
Prior to the service, at 9:00 AM, Rabbi Yael will lead a Torah study focusing on texts that shed light on the Passover journey.
Following the service, please join us for lunch provided by A Way In.
