Shabbat Intention: A Teaching for Veetchenan

Upon the mountain,

In the midst of fire,

We heard the One.

Awareness filled our bodies

And the glory shone within our eyes.

Now the wisdom we seek

Seems to be hidden

And understanding appears

Way beyond our grasp.

But everything is still right here.

Shema.

Listen, practice, pay attention.

The One is concealed within the many,

            Burning to be recognized,

            Burning to be loved.
