Today,

As we walk on our way

Intent on where we are going

Sure of what we hope will be,

Let’s stop, just for a moment,

And turn aside and rest our gaze on something that amazes us

Something that fills us with awe.

The Mystery is calling from every tree, bird and bush
May we pause long enough to notice and

And may we find the willingness

To respond—hineni—Here I am—Present in love and truth.
