Adar I , Week 4 — Stop, Pause, Rest

Stop, pause, rest, the Torah calls, this is a matter of life and death.

Days become years, lifetimes pass.

Make time sacred.

Stop so you can be discerning of what you do with this precious gift.

Pause so as to notice how time moves you.

Rest so time can be spacious and inviting.

Stop, pause, rest, so you can realign yourself with the mystery of creation

And feel yourself as part of the continual unfolding.

Stopping guides us in living in harmony with the Earth and all creatures.

This is a matter of life and death.

As we come into the final week of Adar Rishon, may we listen in the Torah’s call and be mindful of how we spend our time.
