Waking Up to the Divine Presence
Autumn Jewish Mindfulness Retreat
Mah nora hamakom hazeh
How awesome is this place. How awesome is this moment.
(Gen 28:17)
With Rabbi Yael Levy
November 19-22, 2026
Stony Point Center in Stony Point, New York
Traveling with our mythical ancestors, we will explore hidden realms that are revealed as we wake up to this place, this moment. We will practice breaking through habits and thought patterns that limit our experience of the Divine. Guided by the mystical tradition, we will delve into mysteries that can help us live with greater compassion and presence.
Our practices will include:
Sacred silence to hold and guide us
Sitting and walking meditation
Hitbodedut: Sacred Encounter
Communal prayer, songs, chants
Opportunities for shared reflections
Opportunities for creative, meditative expression and exploration
Into the Mystic
This retreat will be supported by a free class for retreat registrants on Wednesday night Nov. 3, 7-8:15PM ET on Zoom.
During this class we will touch into some of the mystical teachings about who-what-when-where is God.
This will be a great opportunity to connect with other participants and engage in practices and preparation for our retreat journey.
This Autumn Retreat is open to all
If you are new to the mystical tradition or have been traveling its pathways for a while, you will find your place here.
I am really excited to offer a retreat during this season as the nights grow longer and hidden lights are revealed in the darkness.
