Day 33 - Hod Sh’b Hod: Presence within Presence

Hod Sh’b Hod: Presence within Presence

Today is the thirty-third day of the Omer.
A resting place
A moment to pause
A day to stop and notice where we are on our journey
We take a deep breath and give thanks for everything that has brought us to this moment.

Practice for today:
Find a comfortable place to sit. Notice the sensations as you take a few deep and even breaths. Offer thanks. Notice the sights, sounds, smells that surround you. Offer thanks.

Close your eyes and let yourself sit for 5, 10, 15 minutes, anchoring your attention on your breath. When you notice that your mind has wandered, say “thank you” and bring your attention back to your breath.

As you end your sit you can say to your heart — Abundant love fills the earth. May kindness, love and generosity be upon us all. (Psalm 33:5,22)

The way forward is clear and everything unfolds in faith. (Psalm 33:4)
