Carrying the Sacred

As the book of Shemot comes to a close
We are told that the work of the Mishkan is complete.

Created with gifts from wise, generous hearts and
Spirits filled with awareness of sacred mystery,
The dwelling for the Divine
Is placed within the community
And ready to be lifted and carried
As the journey continues to unfold.

The holy work is complete
And of course, the holy work continues.

Lifting and carrying the sacred center,
Reassembling it again and again
Is now in our hands.
Shemot ends with a deep call to notice
And bring forth the Divine that dwells
Within and among us.

The challenge is great and
The need is urgent.

May we have moments
When possibilities lift us,
When kindness carries us,
And experiences of beauty, joy, love and honor
Reveal to us the sacred presence.

Hazak Hazak V’Nit Hazek
May Divine light
Shining from within, among and beyond us
Guide with strength.
