Love and Strength

Let’s take a moment and be held by love that is abundant,
by love that is steadfast,
by love that doesn’t wait for us to be ready,
by love that embraces us all.
I am here, wherever you are, the Infinite calls.
I am here in love.

From this place, we ready ourselves to enter
the week of Gevurah
which brings strength, restraint,
judgment and discernment.
Gevurah can help us set boundaries
and acknowledge limits.
It can inspire discipline and devotion to practice.

It is helpful in Gevurah
to remember the limitations of our humanness.
To remember we are not the center
and even as our actions have consequences,
we are not ultimately in control.
We are part of the Great Mystery,
the Infinite Unfolding.
In Gevurah,
we are taught that humility brings strength
and courage arises as we connect with each other.
Ask for help, Gevurah urges,
and watch for guidance.

As we enter the week of Gevurah,
let us bow into Mystery
and rise into the stance of a spiritual warrior,
one who abides with uncertainty
and acts with devotion,
humility, strength and love
for the benefit of all.
