Gevurah calls,
Be strong and humble
courageous and true.
Cultivate awe.
Honor mystery.
Set limits and boundaries
for the sake of relationship.
Let judgment be tempered by curiosity.
Allow evidence to challenge certainties.
From here we enter Tiferet,
the heart-space
where Chesed and Gevurah meet.

Tiferet calls forth
harmony, beauty, balance, truth.

Here we are urged
to allow our hearts to break open in joy and sorrow.
To celebrate the astounding magnificence of the world,
to exalt in the beauty and delights of this Infinite design.

And here we are also called to see the brokenness,
the layers of shattering in this precious world
and allow ourselves to grieve for all that has been lost and destroyed.

Within Tiferet is a wellspring of rachamim,
Infinite compassion, fierce love intent on life.
As we find the willingness to sit with the truths
of this broken and beautiful world
rachamim rises
filling our tender and vulnerable hearts
and coming through the words of our mouths
and the work of our hands.

As we enter the week of Tiferet and the new month of Iyar
may the blossoming earth
inspire our resilience
and our commitment to healing and love.
