Jewish Mindfulness

Meditations

Rabbi Yael Levy leads weekly Meditation Sits on Zoom offering her interpretations of Jewish teachings as guidance for mindfulness meditation. Thursday mornings from 8:00–8:30AM.

Rabbi Yael begins each Sit with a teaching drawn from Jewish text or inspired by the cycle of Jewish time, and it lasts for a half-hour. The Sit ends with a closing teaching or prayer. Meditating in silent companionship supports regular practice and helps participants to direct their hearts and the work of their hands.
